My Journey
I encountered yoga more than 13 years ago during my first higher education in Ukraine. I graduated with degrees Bachelor and Master of Arts in Philosophy and Religion.
Whilst I was reading the original and authentic yoga texts, I sensed very strong connection with ancient Indian’s wisdom and it “woke” my mind up. I then decided to learn more about yoga practice and went to my first yoga class.
To start with, my yoga practice was more about curiosity, discovering unfamiliar areas and undertaking new experimentation. Working as a model this practice seemed to me as a perfect way to keep my body in shape; however, I gradually discovered how incredible yoga impact my mind and life.
My childhood had been painful experiences with family members having severe illnesses, the early death of one of my parents and many other difficulties. I had learned early lessons about what is really important in life. In brief, I can say that the life path prepared me well to let the wisdom of yoga to come directly to my heart.
More and more during, and after yoga practice, I started to feel more calm, peaceful and happy. I noticed more ease in my life, less complaining and judgmental. I became more focused and efficient with my studies and work. I found more patient and trust to life process. My energy levels were growing, and I started to feel more freedom and space in my body and mind.
Due to my persistent regular yoga practice, I found myself at the point that I wanted very much to share the enormous benefits of yoga with other people, having started to teach yoga professionally in 2010 after completing my yoga teacher education in Ukraine, yet always maintaining a continuous in-depth yoga education.
Travelling to the different corners of the world, I have carefully collected and naturally integrated the various different yoga knowledge and techniques from the world-famous yoga teachers to my own specialised practice. I’ve been taught by amazing yoga teachers in India, USA, Indonesia, Sweden, Ukraine, UK, Denmark, Russian, Island.
My yoga lessons are combinations of dynamic asanas sequences, breathing exercises, guided meditations and yoga philosophy.
Even though my particular yoga style has been shaped by different teachers, it still carries a huge influence of my own spiritial experiences and enlightenments.
The main goal of my lessons is to bring my students to their true nature of mind that is full of light, love and happiness.
I like to create a warm, gentle atmosphere in my classes, where everybody can feel welcomed and relaxed.
Yoga is first of all about the process and awareness - you constantly transform yourself through mastering a pose.
It is a liberating and exciting lifetime journey.
Nowadays I based mostly in Stockholm, but giving my yoga lessons all other the world.
My mission is to serve Peace and Love via sharing my yoga practice.
My vision is transforming people’s lives, contributing to their happiness and well-being.
And I am looking eagerly forward to seeing you in my classes.
With Love
Lidiya
